file (519 KB)In written communication, the name that we prefer to use is OMII-Europe, with exactly this capitalisation and hyphenation. This is to distinguish us clearly from OMII-UK, who are a partner in this venture, but who have entirely separate governance. The OMII-Europe logo (see below) uses lower-case letters and no hyphenation, but this does not look good in printed correspondence.
The URL on which we have standardised is http://OMII-Europe.org, although we also have http://OMII-Europe.com and http://OMII-Europe.eu. The use of the .com domain, with which we began life, is now deprecated, and will eventually be withdrawn. The .eu domain currently maps on to the .org domain.
